The new NEC portlets integrate voice, video and data communications into a Service Oriented Architecture, allowing users to invoke collaboration from within the context of a business application, streamlining the communication experience and increasing productivity throughout the enterprise.

Designed using an open standards approach also provides developers a shorter timeline for customizing portlets for virtually any specialized or proprietary business application. The Software Development Kit (SDK) includes: the platform-independent NEC Sphericall WSDL, sample client applications, NEC Sphericall system simulator that implements the full set of services, and full documentation. SDK v6.3 also supports development for mobile and remote users with a MicroBrowser for IP phones.
